HERE'S FIVE WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINTS AT HOME!

1 The three "R's" - Reduce, re-use, recycle... try buying less, and reusing and fixing things when you can instead of buying new

2 Unplug appliances and turn off lights when you're not using them... most electronics have a standby mode that siphons energy even when not in use

3 Walk or ride your bike... instead of travelling in the car so much, use your legs! Mother nature will thank you

4 Use cold water to wash your clothes... this saves a lot of energy, and tons of detergents are made for cold water now

5 Ditch bottled water... these bottles have a huge carbon footprint, ending up in landfills... buy a re-usable water bottle or canteen
